WEEE

The E.C. directive on WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) was established in February 2003. This European law sets targets for collection, recycling and recovery of all types of electrical goods. Dunstable Waste Group can offer various WEEE options to its customers and using our extensive knowledge of waste management and recycling we have developed a wide range of products and services.

If it is dealt with in the correct way WEEE is an excellent source of raw materials. If the WEEE policy is not enforced then what were valuable products can become damaging toxins which have a detrimental effect on the environment. On 13 August 2005 manufacturers became financially responsible for the compliance to the WEEE directive. This has led to an improved level of electronics and electrical equipment being recycled.

Dunstable Waste Group see the management of WEEE as a very important issue. The life of electronic goods is becoming increasingly short and this can lead to an ever increasing amount of WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment). We offer services which directly benefit the environment and we are always willing to listen to the suggestions and opinions of our customers. This combination of moral WEEE dipsosal and customer satisfaction make us one of the top recycling firms in the Uk today.

If you have any questions regarding our WEEE packages and services then please feel free to contact us, we will be pleased to answer any questions which you may have.
